Always respond within
the natural flow of your body; doing so allows complex maneuvers
to become subconscious responses.
Avoid traditions and
rituals that slow you down like sandbags of knowledge and
prevent you from making progress; rather, seek common denominators
in all things and apply the information in accordance with
your own life.
Absorb what is useful;
Reject what is not; Use the remainder to set yourself free
from that which binds you. |

At
5'11, 214 lbs. with 4% body fat, the effort Al Smith, Jr.
puts in to staying fit is obvious. Less obvious, however,
is that not long ago like most Americans he too once struggled
with being overweight. "I was the fat kid growing up," says
Al, "And controlling my weight had always been a source of
stress
in my life. It took a lot of hard work to get my weight under
control, and now my struggle is finally over."
His success didn't happen overnight.
It took him almost twenty years to develop his winning strategy.
More importantly he has been able to keep the fat from coming
back! According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control 3 out
of 4 people who lose weight regain 90% of it within the first
year, and all of it within 5 years. Having initially lost
his weight in 1997 Al is proof that cutting the strings of
"yo-yo" dieting is possible.
Al joined the United States
Army where he experimented with various diets and exercises.
Al went on to earn Certifications in the latest Weight Management
and Personal Training techniques, and became a United States
Center for Disease Control Health Care Partner. |

TrainChange is not
a diet. It’s a logical approach to control fat storage
and utilization. The philosophy was to develop a strategy
that could be customized to fit into anyone’s lifestyle.
Specifically, one that would allow for enough flexibility
to adjust to people’s body type and various needs.
Using
this approach, TrainChange revolves around the “problems”
that lead to excessive fat storage and calorie consumption,
versus merely applying a short-term “solution” to decrease
body weight. This is important since everyone is unique
and lives within different constraints; the traditional
one size fits all approach to dieting simply doesn't work.
In
order to make progress toward your fitness goals, everyday,
your nutrition plans and exercise routines must constantly
force change and adaptation to occur. The TrainChange
Fitness Studio does just that. Between our SpinTense cycle
classes, Endurance Circuits and information packed Fitness
Workshops we guarantee to constantly challenge you physically
and mentally in order to help you reach your fitness goals.
