What's the difference between a  1" in. and 1.25" in. Olympic Resistance Band Bar? The most important difference is that the 1" barbell means that 1" standard plates will fit onto this bar.  So with the Olympic Sleeve, you'll be able to use 2" Olympic plates or 1" Standard plates with this 1" bar. Other than that, the difference is simply a matter of comfort.  Specifically, if you have larger hands, the 1.25" bar may feel better to grip than the 1" bar. BENEFIT The benefit of using the ALLN-1 eye bolt locking mechanism is that it allows you to easily attach resistance bands DIRECTLY TO THE ADAPTER instead of wrapping it around the bar.

Additionally,  if you only have one set of 45 lbs but want to add more weight, you can easily add more resistance with resistance bands--and still receive the training benefits of Time Under Tension. For example, use the ALLN-1 Olympic Resistance Band Adapters and Resistance Band Barbell as an axle to roll the our ALLN-1 2k20 Functional Fitness Bench. Although transporting the 2k20 with more than two 45lbs. (as wheels) is possible, it's heavier to roll. So the solution we use to add additional resistance without having to carry the extra weight is by using easily transportable ALLN-1 VRS Clips and Resistance bands! This innovative combination of using bands and weights, is not only a smart way to save money on your training equipment, it's also a SAFER for those time when you don't have a spotter. Because training to failure with a set of 45 lbs and bands, will give you more confidence to trainer harder and further toward your normal point of failure...because you don't have to worry about dropping six 45lbs. plates on your neck.

3 Ways You Can Connect Chains or Resistance Bands to Any Barbell with ALLN-1 Olympic Resistance Band Adapters

USE ALLN-1 VRS Clips (PREFERRED METHOD): This method allows for the most flexibility because you can connect multiple weighted/types of resistance bands to the bar using the VRS Connection method (you can also connect resistance bands without plates). USE CARABINERS: Connect carabiners to the ALLN-1 eye bolt locking mechanism, connect bands to the carabiners. USE DIRECT BAND CONNECTION: If your bands are small enough, run them through the eyelet and tie the bands into a knot.
